Since Garrison was a young man, he has consistently exceeded expectations. During his football career, Garrison’s sheer talent and determination to break records projected him from All State in high school to consensus All American at the University of Georgia. Among a litany of other prestigious awards, Garrison finished third for the most coveted award in all of college football, the Heisman Trophy. He had a highly decorated NFL career with the Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, San Francisco 49ers, and Denver Broncos. Garrison was one of only two NFL players ever to win the Comeback Player of the Year award twice.
